Got home yesterday (Monday) and thought the water in the tank felt a bit acidic so I did a pH test and found it had somehow dropped from 7 to at least 6. Followed that up with a KH test and it came back as 0! Something has managed to drop it from 4-5 dKH [...]
Tank is still cycling. Ammonia is zeroing out daily now (initially from 8ml, now 10ml added) and the nitrite may have dropped a touch tonight. I was hoping to get fish in at the weekend but this seems increasingly unlikely as time moves on.

I started a fishless cycle on 4th adding 10ml of Ammonia. Unfortunately I also started dosing E.I. dosing at the same time and I think it might have caused a bit of an overload as I’m struggling a bit with algae at the moment.
